Thedin,

I would recommend checking 5620SAM to insure the alarm is enabled and not squelched...

In SAM select the Administrative Tab and then Alarm Settings.... Find the specific alarm you are looking to receive and insure it isn't squelched...

The alarms are listed by: domain.alarm name

You could also setup a TRAP destination on another system and make sure the elements are sending the proper trap(s) back to SAM when you create the condition of an alarm-state.....

Hi All,

I'm having trouble seeing LDP related alarms on SAM, i've tried generating LDP interface down, peer down, session down alarms via 7750 (differen Timos versions 5,6,7) and 7450 on version 7. Very intermittently i would see tLDP session down alarms but not frequent at all.

I've looked at alarm correlation but couldn't see any LDP alarms.

All boxes are configured with interface level and targeted level LDP with authentication, therefore i should simply be able see at least ldp interface down alarm when an interface is shutdown.

Any thing specific i need to configure in order to activate these alarms?

Cheers,

Thedin
