[alcatel-nsp] alcatel ospf inter-area filtering

Hi,

I'm not sure with your queries about "ospf inter-area filtering" for, but in my perseption you are need to filter the LSA to prevent the external route exhausting the CPU/memory resources.

So I guess you can use " external-db-overflow ". please find page 342 to detail description on attached doc.

Please correct me if I am wrong.

i want to apply some ospf inter-area filtering in SR and ESS routers, but have no luck.

how to apply ospf inter-area filtering ?

in google with "ospf inter area" keyword, i got only other vendor implementation.

The same result can be achieved with configuring the area to nssa or stub, but it will make downtime and must done in all router at the same time.
