Calling all SP600 gurus...

Hi gang,
I am the proud new owner of an SP600JX17-- one problem, though, the 3.45
to 7.4 MC band is inop (weak static only)--all other bands are OK.  The
manual tells me it's in the turret/bandswitch assembly with the RF tuner
coils, etc.

Could anyone offer some hints here?  Anxious to use her on 75m!!
