BA's on WARC bands..??

Gang:

     Since I am about to do this (the wondrous Viking II which
will go anywhere from 1.8 mHz thru 30 mHz) (and that Drake 2-B
plus three proper crystals) I should appreciate any information
concerning fequencies - if any - that any of you aim for.  Most
likely this will be all CW, and I shall be crystal-controlled
so need to think about what freqs to aim for.  Mainly on 30
meters, I guess - anything there to particularly avoid (have
the former users moved on yet, e.g.)?

     I appreciate any suggestions.  Maybe it's time for a homebrew
project VFO for the sucker...
