Meter help needed - Knightkit KG600B

Hi Gang,

    Sure can use some help.  Received a really nice Knight-kit KG600B
tube tester via UPS and all outward appearances of the shipping
box etal looked great.  Opened the unit and the Meter facing had
came off.  The meter mechanism itself will not move, (i.e., the
needle/pointer does not 'float' freely).  When the unit is
powered up the Adjustment control does not affect the pointer.  I
will try and see if Allied Radio has a replacement meter for PN 654207 (1
ma movement, 4 1/2").  Any other suggestions?
