Saw the various postings re the HT-40. I have a ten-page condensed manual available for $1 and whatever size SASE you want me to fold it into.
I've never owned one; I just collect manuals for everything. The spec sheet sez 80, 40, 20, 15, 10, and 6 meter; 75 watts peak (probably input.) Uses 80-meter xtals (or VFO) for 80; 40 for 40 thru 10; 8.333-9 Mc for 6. There are four tube envelopes for an equivalent of 7 tubes -- 6CX8 osc/buffer; 6DQ5 output; 12AX7 and 6DE7 mike amps and screen mod.
Uses voltage doubler power supply: 500 v from a 195v secondary!?
The design is rather minimal: typical of the competitive market it addressed. Electric Radio #70 has a pretty good run-down of the set; I will include this article with the condensed manual.
