HT-40/SX-140 pair

Hi Joe,

Thanks for the good info. I received the HT-40 yesterday and put it on
the air last
night. Seems to work very well and keying very good. This one is good
shape for
a 30+ year old rig.

I don't think I will go for the SX-140 but I've been told there is a
matching VFO for
the HT-40 so will look for one of those. My first want is still the
Heathkit DX-20,
DX-35, DX-40 or DX-60. I may trade this HT-40 for one but for now I will
play with
the HT-40 on CW and try it on AM. I think a group of AMers are on 7275.

Hope to chat with you on the bands. Look for me around 7050 late
afternoon and
early evening most days. Also will be getting on 80M 3565,  70 and 79.5
evenings.
