VT-269 tube?

Hello fellow BA,
I have one of these tubes, VT-269. It is a cute little guy. I cant find
any info on it other than it is a 717A. I would like to know some info on
how to test it with my tube tester. I also know it has a 6.3 volt
filament. It was used in place of a 6SK7, does this sound right? Any and
all help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks
