Seriously Reminising about Halli's

I's reminded I skipped the SR-2000.  I don't know why; it was listed
right below the SR-750 . . .
        The SR-500, 750 and 2000 refers to the input power.  These were all
offered in 1965, prior to the SR-400(A), which number also refered to
power input.
        The SR's 42A and 46A are apparently rare.  The "2" and "6" refer to
meters. These were portable 117vac/12vdc 12-watt 4-channel xtal-xmit,
variable rx, VHF xcvrs, prob. AM, tho the listing doesn't say.  The
2-meter sold for $220, and the 6 for $200, in 1964.  The HA-26 was the
VFO, and MR-40 the mobile mount.
