HQ-145 ( WTB or wind antenna coil )

I have a nice Hammerlund HQ 145 that needs an antenna coil for the 1.4
-- 4.0 Mc band.

The past owner said he broke it trying to peak up the receive, but when
I opened up the tin can coil cover - coil was nowhere to be found.  So
now I need to find a coil or make one.

Does anyone have a junker HQ receiver with a similar coil ??

Can someone give me some tips on winding a new one ???
