Good news/Bad news

Gang, good news: I will shortly be receiving a Globe Champion transmitter supposed to be in pretty nice shape.
Bad news: apparently both finals and both modulator tubes
are kaput.  Anyone got any 9909's (AX9909's?) or any 809's?  Checked Fair Radio catalog, no show.  Antique
Electronics has them for a horrendous amount.  I'm told
the tubes were broken not burned out.  Some comfort I guess.  Was told the finals are cracked around the base
and the modulators have pulled off anode caps, which
might be repairable but I'd still like some new or newer
ones.  So if you have any for sale at a reasonable price
or trade please let me know.  Having a rig that doesn't
work makes me itch.  Thanks  and 73  Gary
