Read all the Allied threads with great interest. I sure do remember pouring
through my Allied catalogs back in those days.

That recent thread stirred up some memories and caused me to go through
some of my old "junk" boxes the other day. Found and old Lafayette catalog
from 1966, some old QST's from the same time and even some correspondence
to the FCC requesting an application to take my Novice test. I was 14 years
old that year.
