WTB IF Transformer for HQ-170

Hello Steve,

Have you considered trying to fix the old transformer. I once had a
problem with an HQ-170 that involved one of the IF transformers. In my
case, I took the metal shield off and fortunately found that I could
unwind a couple of turns and reattach the broken wire. The 170 never
missed the lost turns and immediately started playing again.

If T4 is really a 455 kc if transformer, then you can use any old
replacement you can find. It doesn't have to be the exact part. For
example, Antique Electronic Supply lists a 455 kc universal pc mount
transformer for $4.00. An old junker radio might provide just what you
want for nothing.

Hope you get the radio playing again without too much difficulty.
