Listserver took weekend off....sorry

Hi gang...

The listserver, our two web servers and all e-mail in or out of Tempe.gov
went away on Saturday sometime.  El Ninio?  Yeah, that's it!  Actually our
DNS went down and that's the little box that converts your request for
'listserv.tempe.gov' into 164.50.248.10 and without that nothing works.

The problem has been found and fixed....but only after me doing my "chicken
little" dance in networking again. (grin)

I still think it was a mistake when we went from tube computers to "sordid
state".  Sure, they crashed just as much or more, but there was always staff
around to kick them into submission.  And when they stopped working they got
dark...bring back all those cool blinky lights so we can tell it's working!

Anyhow, post away...everything is fine...and that DOESN'T mean 25 test posts
to see if it's working. (grin)  THIS message is to all three ham lists so if
you get it...it's working.
