HQ 145XC opinions?

I have the opportunity to swap for an HQ-145XC (the clock is evidently an
aftermarket quartz upgrade/refit with Hammarlund stock face & hands from a
source well known among Hammarlund afficianados). I'm no Hammarlund expert,
& had been originally interested in an HQ-180 for strictly nostalgic
reasons. Either unit would probably be used primarily for SWL in the 35m
broadcast band. The trader says that the unit (the 145XC) is in very nice
shape compared to the 180 he had available. I'd be interested in any and
all opinions -- thanks in advance!
