Source for Batteries for ME297/USM-223 FET VOM?

Recently ran across a USM-223 fet VOM, but cannot find a
source for the 1.3 volt BA-1312/PXB1 batteries that it wants
6 of. Any suggestions? Fair Radio sells the meter, and probably
has some of the batteries, since they test the meters somehow,
but their reply was the usual ( these days ) all caps NOT AVAILABLE.

Nice high impedance meter for using on BA's, if I can find a way to
power it properly.
