6-13 ballast tube

I seem to recall reading in an issue of Hollow State News, that the 6-13
is a substitute/replacement for the ballast tube used in the National NC-400
receiver.  I can't remember the HSN issue # or the original NC-400 tube.  The
6-13 is most likely an Amperex tube.
