Strange Tubes Question

About the CRC 876: CRC is the "JAN" (Joint Army-Navy) code for RCA, so
delete that when looking for a reference. The ARRL Handbook, 1949
edition, lists the 876 as a current regulator, 40-60 ohms plate
resistance, 1.7 umhos transconductance, with a mogul base. No further
info provided.
