BC-669C info needed

I picked up a BC-669C, non-Hallicrafters, over the weekend and plan on
restoring it.  I am in need of a manual and info on any ham mods that may
have appeared in CQ, QST or 73.  While this unit is in very good condition,
it has had several ham mods installed in it.

Does anyone recall any BC-669 mods from years past?  Did it ever appear in
the Surplus Conversations manuals that CQ published years ago?
