Hello BA Amigos
Because of great need for myself and others I have decided to build a
TRANSMITTER TUBE CHECKER. Yep, seems the only solution to my problem. Seems
that JFF Research decided to retire. Cant really blame him. He is in his
early eightys! But there went the only talent that I new of on the east
coast (or any where else for that matter) that tested big tubes for all
concerned. So I need help from any of you that are able. First I need data &
tube load curves for things like 4-400s, 3-500s, AX9909s, 250th, 805s, 211s,
304TLs. & many, many more. Fortunatly I have a lot since I used to be an
active, stocking dealer with Svetlana. They helped a lot on all their
reproduction of US tubes. And I have a library of RCA products. But I got
big holes in my library. Will be glad to pay for your expences & willing to
help you out down the road with some tube testing if you have a need.
The number 2 need is variacs. I need a several 5A (approx), prefer 220V
variacs. I have most of the iron & meters, etc. So any help is appreciated.
Regards
Dee
