Thanks all for answers about the GOLD EV664?

Bob,

I have learned in the past hour or so that the 664G model is not all that
uncommon, and that the gold coloring is actually paint. Very well done
for being paint, I have to say. I thought for sure it was some sort of
plating, but on close examination the paint concept is evident. I have
had a number of 'value estimates' with a top end of $170 for a very
nice one, which sounds reasonable to me. Mine (not for sale at this
time) would probably be about $100 or so, given the condition is not
mint.

But a very nice looking mic, I would agree. Would look really good with
an S-line or C-line.

Hope to have my boatanchors web page back up soon, as well. Keep
an eye out at http://www.boatanchors.com - it's just a silly little web cam
for the time being, but I have the tree built for the new 51 page site, and
I'm
now filling in content.

Take care all. Thanks for all who replied about the 664G!

ps - anyone tell me how to subscribe to the free glowbugs list? NOT the
'porch.com'
one, but the free one. I've lost the address, and when I changed emails, I
got dropped.
