Need info on RME model DB20 receiver (1946)

I need to find a web site or another source of information on the RME model
DB20 receiver. It was manufactured 7-17-46. My buddy owns it and would like
to get it going again. We have spent hours searching the web, and I have
gone through all of my boatanchor books, but have come up dry on that model
(Yes, it really does exist!). Any help on steering us in the right
direction to find the information will be appreciated. Thanks
