Hi Johnson Amigos
Well its about time to get to productive work! Yep, the new paint shop is
near completion (as far as Rangers are concerned). Some have asked me when???
and been very patient. So now I'm ready to take on those Ranger-1 cabs,
panels, bezels & crystal cover knobs. For now the cab will be done in
lacquer until I run out. The panels will be done in the Dupont Chroma or P P
G system (basecoat/clearcoat). The colors are very close to fact orig. The
screening will have clearcoat overall so as to get extra tough finish. This
is the finish that most American auto manufacturers are using. The panels
come out looking like a mirror but I can tone it down if prefered.
Personally, I like the mirror look of my Johnson transmitter. The cost will
be (for now) $250. for the set + shipping.

I have been asked whats next. Well, it looks like the Viking Valiant &
Hammar HQ-180 series of Rxs will be the next for making "screens". Comming
up w/ screens is expensive so thats why I'm selective. This project has to
pay for itself up front.
So let me know & lets get your Ranger looking better than new.
Regards
Dee
