No, it's not an extremely rare grid dipper!  It's a bird, it's a plane.
No it actually is a Home protection Receiver. I have no manual.  What I
have found out about it through playing around is that if plugged into
the same outlet as your computer, home freezer, etc. it will sound a
buzzer from internal battery if power to the outlet goes to zero. Also it
has a relay that furnishes switching for up to 5 amps. to a two contact
AC plug on the back. Unit is in 9.5 condition appearance wise. $30 plus
$4.30 priority mail.
