Something is terribly wrong here. 480 kHz is a ship working frequency
in the 600m maritime band (405-525 kHz). Even though the U.S. Coast
Guard has ceased operations in that band, it's still in use outside of
U.S. waters. How did someone get a license to operate a beacon there????
