Stancor information needed!!

Greetings all:
I hope each of you is having a wonderful Thanksgiving. We have a guest list
of twenty souls this year. Hope some of them are dishwashers! :-)

One of my guests has a Stancor A-3304 transformer that came with his SX-28A.

What is this transformer? After a casual look I thought it might be a small
power transformer, but it makes more sense that it is an output type.
