1000A or 1500B

I have looked at a tube out of a Collins 30S-1.  The makings are gone.  Is
there any physical difference between the 4CX1000A and the 4CX1500B?  It
would nice to know which tube this is.  It does have a serial number (?)
scribed in the bottom.
