Bob,

   The SX-23 is rare in good condition.  Less than 5000 were made during
the one year 1939.  Two knobs are usually bummed up (center bottom and
right bottom) due to time breaking down the compound they were made from
(rubber?) The matching speaker has the same chrome louvers and a chrome
letter "h" on the front.

   March 1992, # 35 Electric Radio has a great article on the SX-23 by Bill
Kleronomos, KD0HG.  You can purchase this back issue from ER. (It's worth
having.)

   What serial number did you get?  How are those two knobs? Did you get
the speaker.
