Help ID'ing a Navy receiver

Chris this may have been used for barracks rec room use or ?
my guess anyway!

I would assume since it has a limited  type navy tag it was not something
that was used for serious communications use but as an incoming inspection
process on items purchased for use in rec rooms  perhaps this 'limited' type
tag was used.
