Help ID this microphone please?

    A friend has recently been given this, and has asked for ID help.
    A round decal says Shure Brothers. Base and mic in a matching dark
brown, maybe with a little green in the brown. Three small round rubber
"feet" in base. Cord could be original, terminates in a round "button"
type, single conductor (w/ shield) connector. Guessing late 1940's,
early 1950's.
