Technical help wanted

I'd say that something is grossly wrong with the diagram.  It looks like the
"diodes" do NOTHING at all as they are all shorted unless the diagram is somehow
strangely constructed in a matter that makes no sense to me.

Are you sure this isn't another one of those "audiophile" (pile???) schemes like
the ones using gold plated oxygen depleted wire at hundreds of dollars each to
make the sound better?
