Hello All,
I am restoring a Harvey Wells Bandmaster Senior and I need a
replacement carbon mike transformer for it. This transformer is
for a Single Button mike and has a center tapped secondary. I believe
the nominal impedance for the primary is around 200 ohms and 400K
for the center tapped secondary. A Stancor model A4742 has these
characteristics.
I can probably use any single button mike transformer that has a
center tapped secondary to drive push-pull stage grids. I believe some
of the old surplus military equipment used this arrangement.
Please reply if you have for sale something I can use.
Thank you.
Best regards,
Richard W4LN
