Yaesu FRdx400 receiver and FLdx400 transmitter

I have one each FRdx400 receiver and FLdx400
transmitter that I acquired as "projects" a few months
ago. However, I have not had the time nor the
inclination to restore these. According to the "Ham
Equipment Buyer's Guide" from 1972, these are the
"Super Deluxe" models imported by Spectronics (an
amateur radio distributor during the 1960s and 1970s).

The transmitter appears to be complete except that
someone has "robbed" all of the knobs except the VFO
calibration (0-100) is still there. The receiver has
a broken coil in the 2-meter converter (still there,
but the paper form is cracked) and one of the option
boards has been removed (from what I understand, this
is not needed for operation - is probably the FM
discriminator board that was an option). The chassis
are dirty, with some surface rust on the receiver.
However, should clean up OK.

I can take digital photos and forward them if
requested.

Am not looking to sell these, but to trade for boat
anchor equipment or ?? Do not want any of the older
import equipment from Japan (except possibly Lafayette
HE-10/KT-200 receiver), Swan, Galaxy (WRL and Globe
OK), SBE, or Tempo. Don't really "need" anything,
just "want"!
