Two questions

Follow up to my original answer:

I researched what I did to resurrect QRZ on my computer, per advice from
them:

1-get rid of cookies and temporary internet files, then reboot. This did
NOT work for me.
Reset your router, if you have one, by unplugging and replugging it and
rebooting. This did the trick for me. Apparently if your computer locks up
or otherwise barfs while in that website, the router locks it out until
reset. N9YB (qrz_helper at hotmail.com) is the guru on this.

2-1 and 2 watt resistor kits available from Antique Electronic Supply in
Phoenix (tubesandmore.com)

They also have individual values, inexpensive. Also try Ocean State
Electronics in Rhode Island. They have dozens of values @ 20 cents for 1 w,
40 cents for 2 watt. Both places are easy, quick, and reliable to deal
with.

Subject: [BOATANCHORS-TEMPE] Two questions

Hi,
I have two off-subject non-related questions for the list:

1. What happened to QRZ.com? The ARRL link to the FCC list
and Buckmister(sp?) are still active but I always liked that
QTH-finder better.

2. Where can I find 1 and 2-watt resistor assortments? I can
find plenty of 1/4 and 1/2 watt assortments from R/S
and others but nothing higher.

Thanks es 73, Stu W6CUX
