Gonset amp question

The 903A was rated at 500 watts INPUT, not output.
Remember back when it was manufactured that the FCC
used input power and not output power as restrictions.
It put out about 200 watts on SSB when operated in
Class AB-1 and about 280 watts when operated in Class
C.

It used a 4X150A in the final. There is a notation in
the manual that the 4CX250 series can replace the
4X150A.

The manual for both the 903 and the 913 (6 meter
version) is on BAMA.

Gonset 903A, put out about 500W PEP, was a square box,
had a meter on the face, but no carrying handle.
