Hallicrafters SX-62 antenna terminals

I don't have the manual and I am bandwidth-challenged to download it. The 
antenna terminal strip contains A1, A2, and GND connections.  By looking under 
the chassis I can see GND is the only one that is actually grounded.  How is an 
antenna normally configured to these terminals, according to the manual?
