Hi,

The manual says that if you are using a single long wire antenna, connect it 
ti A1 and jumper A2 and G. They also suggesting grounding the receiver

  If you are using a coax fed antenna, connect the center conductor to A1, 
the   shield to A2 and jumper A2 to G.

  If you are using ladder line or twin lead, connect it to A1 and A2. Do not 
jumper A2 and G.
