Simpson 269

Ron, if it's like the Simpson 260 then it holds 4 each AA batteries (2 each
on either side of the meter) and 2 each D batteries (under the meter).  All
the batteries in each holder is placed in series.  I believe the polaarity
is stamped in the case.  Hope this helps.

Just acquired a nice Simpson 269 meter with the 30KV probe.  Anyone have an
instruction book for this they could copy or part with?  (Just the meter-I
have one for the probe)  Failing that, anyone know what batteries it takes?
There are 2 holders for batteries, and one is larger than the other.
