Doc -
The best thing I have found for nicotine stains is GoJo Hand Cleaner.
The White, non-abrasive type of course!
I've used it on a LOT of vintage gear, and so far at least it has never
damaged ANY silkscreen or paint work. But it really gets nicotine and
any oily substance right off.
