Understood, but still the promise of freedom from CW
for CW-challenged and/or CW-disinterested potential
new Hams and potential upgrade Hams.

30 Days from tomorrow (Dec. 18th) if the FCC gets it
into the Federal Register then, otherwise 30 days
(Calendar or business days?) from the date they do
get it published in the Register.

I know of three Techs who are hard at work to earn
their General Class licensees in January, and one
working for her Tech-Ham with plans to upgrade to
General asap after passing the Tech.

In my little corner of the world this change is
bringing new young Hams in and they will be rule-
obeying good Hams.
