WELL! Now I've done it!

Oops... hate it when that happens. But don't feel too bad about doing
that because you are not alone.
One time I did that and had to drill the cores out, then replace them
with other ones. It is a slow, tedious process but ....
However, you may be able to get the slugs loose by using a lubricant.
I'm sure there are several ways to do this. I've used.... sparing
amounts of WD40. Don't want to saturate the coil form with oil. One
time I took vaseline and put it on the top of the slug then used a hair
dryer to melt the vaseline and let it flow around the slug. Then
removed the slug and replaced it with a good one.

Anyone have any other ideas before this project becomes one of, "once
something is screwed up, anything done to improve it only makes it
worse"...... I hate those too.

Since I can't find the TM for the 77A (it's here somewhere I just have to find the proper pile of "stuff") I can't give you all the proper coil specs.
