Bob, I would hate to see you take an "NOS Brand new in the box"
Messenger 1 and convert it to 10 meters. If you want to convert
one look around and find another one to play with and leave the
NOS one alone. Finding an unmolested NOS example is hard to do these days.
PLEASE leave it alone, if you don't care about it, sell it to someone you
does so that it can be preserved as is.
