Doc,
One of the nice features of eBay is the ability to check the little box
called "Completed Auction" if you use the Advanced Search. This will
allow you to check back for similar items over the last 30 days and see
if they sold and what they sold for. It beats wasting money trying to
sell something that isn't in demand nor selling.
Regarding your Digi Designer I did a "completed" search on eBay. Do a
search for item 280038586354. It was offered for a starting bid of
$9.99 but received NO bids. So obviously there isn't a big demand. One
problem with those breadboarding assemblies is the contacts inside the
plastic form start to tarnish or corrode after a few years and you end
up getting poor connections on inserted parts and wires. I've seen some
in really bad shape. I have a few of these breadboards and even being
kept in a dry climate I find that I get more poor connections now. I
think they made a version that had gold plated contacts, but who knows
how thick the plating was. It could be like the gold plated D-104's
that I find more with worn off plating and rust. Seems like the chrome
D104's last much much longer. Anyhoot I digress.
