Interesting.....  The 81 is rated at 6.5V @ 1.02A while the 63 is rated 
7V @ 0.63A.

The 82 is electrically identical to the 81, but with a two-contact 
base.  Some think that is a good change since the shell of the 81 is 
connected to the AC line, making it accessible, although with 
difficulty, from the panel of the TV-7.
