Well, it's taken a whole lot longer than it should have, but the day
has finally arrived. Thanks to Gary at AMfone, the updated list of 30K
owners I started keeping back in the mid 80s has been formatted in
html, and now resides online at:

http://amfone.net/Collins/30k.htm

This list has gone through a number of revisions over the years, so
don't be surprised if your transmitter isn't listed. In fact, many of
them have changed hands in just the last 2-3 years. I know I've missed
a couple of folks already, and have 2-3 others I've worked on the air
that need to be tracked down.

As well as hosting the list, the bigger picture is to build this page
into a 30K resource site with tips, schematics, ads, manuals,
pictures, personal stories and so on. This will take some time, of
course. I have a pile of stuff to scan right now, so check back from
time to time for updates. So far an original 30K sales brochure is
posted.

If you have additions or corrections for the list, or anything else
you'd like to share, please send them to collins at amfone.net and we'll
include them ASAP. I do work a 40-50 hour week and am in the process
of selling my house to move south. Webmaster Gary at AMfone also has a
fulltime job, so it might take a few days before the changes appear.

A big 'Thank you' to everyone who has sent updates and info over the
last two years or has otherwise helped track down these transmitters.
Your contributions have made this site possible.
