Preselector or Q-Multiplier for Gonset G-66B?

Anyone used a preselector or Q-Multiplier with a Gonset G-66B?

I am wondering if they add value or if the G-66B design is so
well optimized that such accessories are not of value.

The G-66B uses a 265KHz final IF.
