Tetrodes as Triodes

Try the CQ archives list available on the net.
One of the articles I believe you refer to was "Care and feeding of beam 
power tetrodes" published in CQ by either Orr or Sutherlund (best 
recollection anyway).
It dealt with use of 4-400 in gg service and suggested improvements to 
prevent excessive screen dissapation.
