HT-37

I too had a HT 37. I remember the great audio reports I had with that rig.
Like Mike, I also had a carrier balance problem. I was unable to maintain 
carrier balance. The problem was traced to the "black beauty" caps in that 
part of the circuit. I suspected the tubes, pots, etc but once I installed 
new orange drop caps, presto, it was like a new rig.
I suggest any of the old black beauties be replaced. It saves headaches in 
the long run.

Hello All

 Can any one tell me a little about the HT-37 SSB rigs, I have been wanting 
to pick up a vintage SSB rig to use along side all my AM/CW gear but have 
not as of yet, Is the HT-37 a descent SSB rig to get and use....Please let 
me know  your thought on this any and all would be greatly
