Don't Dump Your Boatanchors Yet

We should be petitioning the government for more (REAL) ham 
bands on HF.

We should also be petitioning them to allow private 
low-power shortwave broadcast stations that are unregulated,
along the line sof the 100 mW allowed now.

Shortwave could be a LOT of fun again if private individuals 
were alowed to transmit with say, 10 watts on some of 
the vacated spaces between 2 MHz and 30 MHz.

There are already a large number of "pirate" stations doing this, 
mostly around 6.9 to 7.0 MHz and 15.0 to 15.1 MHz.
