Help valuing an AR-88 that UPS destroyed last week --

I've had a few interesting experiences with UPS.

  I bought an anvil once and UPS lost it in transit! Completely disappeared.

  Radiowise, I bought a radio and it was delivered COD so I paid the 
driver. Out of the blue I started getting notices from a collections 
agency for the same money so I let it go for about 6 months. Then I 
wrote the CEO of UPS asking him that since it was a COD package is 
UPS saying that I stole it off the truck. No more collection notices.

And, over the years I've received a couple of rifles that looked a D8 
drove over them and spun around.
